Building a Jewellery Business

A hands-on course that will give an overview of the essential skills needed to run a successful jewellery business. You will cover a wide range of issues from generating appropriate visual imagery, promotional material, display, packaging, pricing, administration, hallmarking and copyright. By the end of the course you will have a keen understanding of the trading practice and jargon of the jewellery business. This course is aimed at those intending to set up as a sole trader, studio jeweller or small business.
Yvonne Kulagowski has over 15 years' of retail experience, working for the Crafts Council and Contemporary Applied Arts; she leads the dissertation unit at Camberwell College of Art and is a dissertation supervisor for the School of Fashion, Jewellery and Textiles at Central Saint Martins. Her book 'The Earrings Book' was published by A&C Black in 2007.
