Jewellery and Wax Carving
Martin Hopton
This course gives an exciting and in-depth introduction to the art of wax carving for jewellery. All techniques will be covered, from design to finished work cast in silver. In addition, the course will cover mould and tool making for the use of production items. Intermediate jewellery skills are advantageous but not essential.
Martin Hopton is an accomplished jewellery designer and watchmaker who teaches on the BA Jewellery course at Central Saint Martins.

- An apron
- Sketchbook
- Pencils
- Eraser
- Sensible footwear ie. no 'open toe' sandals
- Hair band (if you have long hair).
