Architectural Drawing - Level 1

Architectural Drawing - Level 1

Illugi Eysteinsson

The course is aimed at students planning a study of architecture and spatial design related fields, individuals new to architecture who are keen to understand the language and practicalities of the design process and professionals in any design or architectural discipline who want to refresh their hand drawing skills in a creative, fun and relaxed environment.
You will learn site observational sketching, the conventions of technical scaled architectural drawings plus the basics of perspective and axonometric drawings and freehand drawings in the design development phase of the design process. You will build confidence and your ability to visualize and draw space by direct application of these drawing methods in an individually developed project that takes you through the entire architectural design process from an idea to final presentation.
