The course is aimed at people who have taken the Architectural Drawing Level 1 and anybody who has a clear understanding and practice of the architectural drawing conventions and methods including creative professionals in any of the spatial design fields i.e architecture, interior design, set design and game designers who want to improve their visual thinking skills and free hand drawing abilities in a creative, fun and relaxed environment. You will learn how to use free hand sketching and technical drawings in a critical way by exploring spaces and understand the spatial qualities through the use of axonometric, perspective and diagrammatic sketches. You will be encouraged to explore visual methods like photomontage & collage, perspective grids, sequence drawings and exploding axonometric drawings in an individually directed design project. You will build confidence in your visual thinking ability by the use of quick, accurate free hand drawings of architecture and interior spaces. You will possess the ability to visualize and draw spatial layouts and critically analyze spaces to support designs proposals. 

Illugi Eysteinsson is an architect/educator with a Masters degree in both Architecture and Fine Art. Illugi has extensive experience facilitating art/architectural community workshops having worked as public art consultant, artist and set designer in the entertainment industry for fifteen years. Currently Illugi is developing commercial creativity workshops for people using the architectural design process and tools as a source. Illugi is an experienced tutor at Central Saint Martins and also teaches architectural drawing online.
