Creative Digital Photography
Bill Blanco and Tony Nandi
It is unusual for an established creative medium to undergo the level of revolutionary change that photography is currently experiencing. Digital practice has so changed picture making and processing that the creative opportunities in photography have been greatly enhanced. The first day of this project-based course is devoted to discussion of both camera use and creative manipulation. An assignment will be given and commenced upon at the end of the first day. The next four days will be devoted to the completion of projects with one camera and one computer based session per day. This is a project-driven approach to learning photographic and post-production techniques, using Adobe Photoshop. The course is suitable for beginners but also for those who have some experience of digital imaging.
Bill Blanco is an experienced tutor in the Photography department at Central Saint Martins.
Tony Nandi brings to his teaching extensive experience and unique insight based on a decade's exploration of the technical and creative possibilities in digital imaging.
