This course will teach the basics of how to take fashion images for a variety of commissioners, from magazines to fashion designers. You will analyse the various phases in the organising of a fashion photo-shoot, from the initial concept to its realisation. Emphasis will be given on working with models, fashion stylists, make-up artists and hair stylists. Topics covered will also include the selection of location sets, construction of studio sets, propping, accessorising, camera settings, lighting control, use of backdrops, reflectors and other practical techniques applied in this branch of photography. The course will include production and execution of a fashion shoot.
