Illustrating Comics and Graphic Novels
Tutor to be Confirmed
A broad look at the different aspects involved in illustrating a comic or graphic novel. Through a series of workshops we will be exploring how to breakdown and draw from a script, page layout, timing and sequences, character generation, composition and body language. The course will also include a small amount of life drawing and will look at different genres, influential comics and creators. The course will be a good introduction for those who have an interest in creating graphic novels or drawing comics.

or there are no dates showing for this session, then please choose an alternative session.
Please bring with you to the first session:
- A small amount of money for travel pass to locations
- A Sketch/notebook (comfortable size for working on location)
Basic drawing equipment:
- Pencils (selection)
- Cartridge paper (A3 pad)
- Other equipment useful (not essential!) throughout the course:
- Inks/Watercolour
- Scalpel
- Pritt
- Camera
