Dreamweaver on the Mac

Dreamweaver on the Mac

Chris Jones MA (RCA)

Used throughout the industry to create feature packed and dynamic websites, Dreamweaver is the powerful web design software by Adobe. Dreamweaver gives you the ability to take control of your own publishing and to create websites, simply and without much prior technical experience. Students undertaking this course will develop a concise knowledge of Dreamweaver that covers the basics through to implementing Spry Javascript.

This Mac-based course starts with a brief look at creative web design. Each session different topics such as CSS, Javascript and FTP will be integrated into the lesson. Each student is encouraged to create their own brief to use as a platform on which they can build a site using the techniques they have learned. Basic knowledge of the computer and basic experience using Adobe Photoshop are essential.

Chris Jones works across web and print design working predominantly within the arts sector. He is a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art, and was an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins in the School of Graphic and Industrial Design for over 12 years.
