Used throughout the industry to create feature packed and dynamic websites, Dreamweaver is arguably the most powerful web design software to date. Dreamweaver gives you the ability to take control of your own publishing and to create interactive projects, simply and without much prior technical experience. Students undertaking this course will develop a concise knowledge of Dreamweaver that covers the basics right through to implementing other forms of web media such as Java, Shockwave and QuickTime. This Mac-based course starts with a brief look at creative web design, and then each week existing and live web projects created using Dreamweaver will be integrated into the lesson. Each student is encouraged to create their own brief to use as a platform on which they can build a site using the techniques they have learned. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is essential.
