Introductory Photoshop and Illustrator

An introduction for anyone wishing to use Apple Macintosh computers and image making/maipulation software. Students will work with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. You will develop your understanding of the Apple Mac to a good working standard. Beginners will be welcomed and computer-phobics given help and understanding. The course is designed for those who may be getting an Apple Macintosh at their workplace or who may already be using one but have no time to experiment with the capabilities of the machine.You will work on your own projects and the course will take into account the specific needs and interests of those taking it.

  • A notebook
  • A pen
  • Some drawings or old photographs to scan
  • digital photos
  • a usb stick
  • For the first session you will need to think of some ways of collaging/montaging at least two of these images together
