Illustrating On The Mac

Today illustration has expanded to include all sorts of digital image making as well as traditional methods of drawing and painting. This course gives an introduction to the Apple Mac using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop as well as working with scanned images for all types of designers and artists who are creative and interested in all aspects of illustration. Students will be encouraged to develop their own style while working within the computer environment. No previous knowledge of Adobe software or the Apple Mac is required.

Lucy Newman has a background in fine art, and has over ten years experience freelancing in TV motion graphics, animation and web design.
