Can't Draw, Won't Draw
Marcia Kay Ellis MA
Whether you are a total beginner who lacks confidence or you are rediscovering your creative ability, this course will provide you with new ways of expressing your innate potential. How to begin: in the initial stages the emphasis is on encouraging the student to both own and value the process and outcome of drawing and painting. Students will be encouraged to let go of all their preconceived ideas of art. You've made your mark: gaining confidence in working with colour, tone, light and shade is at the core of effective art practice. Students will be encouraged to work in their chosen medium and will receive individual support. Something different: this course combines traditional art practice, considering composition, form and perspective with a more imaginative approach to drawing and painting. Surprise yourself! There is an artist within us all!
Marcia Kay Ellis is an artist. She combines both professional and private art practice alongside community projects, covering a wide range of teaching needs and approaches. View her work at: www.marciarts.co.uk
