Experimental Printmaking

Experimental Printmaking

Sean Myers BA (Hons), PG Dip, PGCE

Experimental printmaking focuses on traditional printmaking methods including colour surface monoprinting, collographs and drypoint. These are combined with transfer printing, collage/montage and relief based, textural mark making processes. Students learn each technique and are encouraged to cross them over to produce exciting and original works of art. Open to new or experienced artists, the course can contribute towards a substantial art portfolio for professional use or application for further study.

Sean works with Foundation, BA and MA students at CSM. He is an artist and lecturer and also runs a screen printing studio in East London. Have a look at his website:  www.seanmyersprint.com
