Portfolio Preparation for Foundation - Fine Art

Portfolio Preparation for Foundation - Fine Art

Ben Woodeson

Are you considering applying to a Foundation course at Central Saint Martins or elsewhere but need to develop your portfolio? Do you need one-to-one tuition in fine art by a tutor with extensive experience of the application process? Regardless of your age, experience or ability this course is an excellent place to begin. On this course you will carry out a variety of projects related to drawing, idea development, life study, painting and printmaking, along with a look at art installations and new media. Over the ten weeks you will produce work for your portfolio during class time and, more importantly, through a series of stimulating homeworks, with continual guidance from your tutor will help you improve your technical skills and will develop your creative thinking. This is an opportunity to sample a taste of a Foundation course at art school whilst you follow the discipline area that interests you the most.

Ben Woodeson is a practicing artist and lecturer. He exhibits internationally and taught on the Foundation at Central Saint Martins and is currently course leader on the Art and design Foundation at Lewisham College. View his website at: http://www.woodeson.co.uk
