Evening Painting
Roger Gill BA (Hons)
Beginning with drawing and painting from the figure, the course introduces students with different levels of ability to a range of approaches to painting. It will encourage self-expression and independent lines of study developed from observational drawing, with a series of structured exercises exploring line, tone, collage and contemporary colours. Individual and more abstract ways of working will then be developed with a view to producing several pieces of work.
Roger Gill is an artist and freelance tutor who works in London and who has exhibited in the UK and Europe. See www.rogergill.org.
