Life Drawing - Open Class
James Tyldesley
An open class for people at all levels of ability wanting to practise figure drawing. Although there is some class teaching, students are mainly taught on an individual basis according to their own particular needs. All the formal problems, such as making accurate visual judgements, creating a sense of form and developing an awareness of design will be addressed in an informal way. Designers, illustrators, art directors, aspiring students and those newly interested in art and design are among the students who attend this class. Interest and commitment are the chief requirements.
James Tyldesley is a practising artist/designer who produces paintings and sculpture and work in a variety of other media. He has taught at Central Saint Martins for many years and for various departments.
