Expressive Painting
Ewa Gargulinska MA
Students will be taught to achieve limitless creativity in the visual expression of self, using painting as a medium. The teaching method is structured on visual exercises in response to a theme. It accelerates students' understanding of the essential elements in the creative process; imagination, intuition, freedom and sincerity. The visual element plays an equally important part in the development of the creative mind. Students will learn composition, texture and colour in abstract, figurative and surreal forms. The daily exercises are designed to release students' potential by developing an independent vision. On completion of the course they will be able to recognise their potential as creators, sustain concentration, trust their vision, express confidently their imagination through technique, form, colour and understand the power of the creative mind. The course is open to students at all levels. There will be a demonstration of techniques relating to surface, depth of colour and texture.
