Leigh Keily
This course will teach the basics of how to take fashion images for a variety of commissioners, from magazines to fashion designers. You will analyse the various phases in the organising of a fashion photo-shoot, from the initial concept to its realisation. Emphasis will be given on working with models, fashion stylists, make-up artists and hair stylists. Topics covered will also include the selection of location sets, construction of studio sets, propping, accessorising, camera settings, lighting control, use of backdrops, reflectors and other practical techniques applied in this branch of photography. The course will include production and execution of a fashion shoot, using a professional industry team of makeup & hair artists, stylists and models.
Leigh Keily is a freelance fashion and portrait photographer and the creative director of Phoenix Magazine. Leigh’s photography work has featured in a wide variety of UK and international publications, including Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Harpers and The Independent newspaper amongst others. Leigh produces all shoots for Phoenix magazine working with top industry photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, and the magazine is celebrated for its cutting edge fashion editorials and cover shoots. - A UK fashion magazine. Suggestions include Vogue, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Grazia, Harpers, V, Disorder, Love, Wound etc.
During this course you will also need:

- USB stick
