Menswear Styling, Design and Accessories

Menswear Styling, Design and Accessories

Tom Adams

Fashion, styling and accessories have always formed a key element in every man's wardrobe - adding flair, dimension and personality. Through an in-depth investigation of historical and contemporary menswear design, this course will challenge participants to reassess their understanding of the relationship between form, function and fashion as applied to the design, manufacture and marketing of clothes and accessories for men. You will complete an individual design project in which you will be encouraged to develop your own fashion and accessory concepts relevant to the contemporary menswear landscape.

Tom Adams Course is the Director of the BA Menswear at London College of Fashion. Has worked in the fashion industry for 20 years as an independent designer selling in shops such as Browns Focus in South Molten Street and independent boutiques across the world. Has also worked on projects for the music industry designing clothes for musicians such as U2, Robbie Williams, Bjork, Skunk Annansie and Darren Hayes.
