Fashion Mix

Fashion Mix

Audrey Ang

This course will help you gain a flavour of the design process encouraged in fashion design classes at Central Saint Martins.  An individual approach is key.  Lessons will include research skills to help you formulate your own unique ideas towards a fashion collection, meeting a designer/ stylist from the fashion industry, translating your ideas into 3-D / draping, fashion drawing and editing the beginnings of your own fashion collection. This project should be a helpful addition for your portfolio. The course will suit beginners who have not designed before or those with more experience who want to see what it is like to experience the design process as a London student.

Audrey Ang is an experienced women’s wear designer having worked for countless Yohji Yamamoto collections in Tokyo, Paris and London.  She has freelanced for a wide range of fashion companies ( from Louis Vuitton to Marks and Spencors ) as well as running her own international accessories labels and teaching at Central Saint Martins for several years.
