Creative Portfolio in Textile Design
Margaret Campbell MA
This course is aimed at students who want to improve or diversify their design portfolio. A variety of studio-based projects, following current trends in textile design, will be set up for students to further develop their skills and complete their portfolio. The design brief will be adapted to each student's needs. Individual tutorials will be of primary importance. It is expected that students from different backgrounds, and especially foreign students, can use this course to produce a competitive portfolio with which to apply to BA or MA Textile Design courses, as well as for job interviews. Students are requested to bring their portfolio and art materials for the first session.
Margaret Campbell studied fashion print at BA and MA level at Central Saint Martins. She now teaches on these courses and works as a freelance textile designer.
