Fashion Styling for Beginners - Saturdays

Fashion Styling for Beginners - Saturdays

Aimee McWilliams

Style is an attitude, a fantasy, a way of living. Style is an important and essential feature in today's idealistic society. It can dictate the rise or fall of a designer or movie star. This course encompasses a wide spectrum of styling assignments - from revamping a celebrity's old and tired image, or styling and designing a magazine fashion shoot, to producing a designer's catwalk collection. Students will learn the fundamental techniques of sourcing garments, accessories and props, learning to work within a team with live models and on location, as well as undertaking individual creative projects.

Aimee McWilliams is a graduate of Central Saint Martins and Associate Lecturer within the BA Fashion Design department. In 2007 she won the prestigious Scottish Designer of the Year Award. Find out more and view her collections at www.aimeemcwilliams.com
