Life Drawing for Fashion Designers

Life Drawing for Fashion Designers

Mark Risdon

The aim of this course is to inspire and develop individual approaches to drawing from life. Experimental exercises will increase concentration, observation and confidence, whilst exploring new ways of drawing the figure. The time will be spent working from the clothed model in a variety of media. Although ideally suited for those from the field of fashion, this course is perfect for anyone with a passion for (or desire to try) drawing from life. All levels of ability are welcome, from beginners to advanced students. This course has been running at Central Saint Martins for many years and has been formative in developing the drawing skills of many well-known artists and designers.

Mark Risdon works as a fashion illustrator, designer and lecturer.
