Making Hat Blocks
Ian Bennett
What makes a hat design truly original? What is the difference between a trilby and a cloche? The answer is the shape. A change in colour or decoration is merely cosmetic but to alter the block on which it is created can produce something completely unique. On this course you will learn how to create your own blocks which can then be used on the Millinery Workshop course to produce your own unique work.
Ian Bennett is a milliner who produces hats for individual clients, the catwalk and TV productions.
