Make You Own - Sewing For Beginners

If you are someone who has never used a sewing machine and wants to learn how and explore.  This is the course for you.  This basic introduction to sewing with a machine course is for people who want to be stylish, save money and are interested in creating something useful for their home.  You will learn to make stylish cushion covers and at the same time build up your own confidence and meet like minded people.

Equipment to bring: 

  • 8" ( 21cm) sewing scissors
  • reel of white cotton
  • assorted hand sewing needles
  • box of dress maker pins with cushion lid
  • tape measure
  • seam ripper
  • thimble
  • chalk pencil
  • 1 metre of home furnishing fabric ( try and buy an end of roll as this will be cheaper)
