Exploring Your Fashion Design

Exploring Your Fashion Design

Anne McCloy

This is an opportunity, if you are passionate about fashion design, to take advantage of the teaching method that is at the heart of the Central Saint Martins approach - where individuals' own ideas provide the focus. The course offers you the opportunity to expand and explore your individual approach to fashion however commercial or unconventional with the focus on research, experimentation and development at every stage of the design process towards whatever conclusion you intend. It is open to anyone putting together a portfolio or to those who simply wish to develop their individual skills. The course places particular emphasis on the discussion of ideas, research and personal objectives. It is not suitable for beginners looking for a structured teaching style, but rather for those who need the space, time and freedom to explore their own creative approach.

Anne McCloy studied fashion at Central Saint Martins. She teaches on the BA and MA course and runs her own label under Some Product working in fashion, music and multimedia.
