Fashion Drawing for Beginners
Alexis Panayiotou
Fashion drawing is essential to facilitate the expression of ideas in the work of fashion designers. This course, for practising designers or would-be illustrators, teaches the rudiments of the subject. Intensive drawing from the fashion model comprises the main work of the class. The emphasis is on individual tuition and practical demonstration. Topics to be covered include: figure drawing, media skills, fabric interpretation and personal style. Figure drawing exercises place emphasis on observation, co-ordination, structure and movement.
Alexis Panayiotou is a fashion illustrator and tutor on the BA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins.
