How it works

All online courses have the benefit to be part of our bespoke online learning platform, specifically made for Art and Design short courses.

This bespoke Virtual Learning Environment has been designed using the latest technologies accessible through the Internet, providing students direct access to lessons, assignment, portfolio space and live classes.

The Central Saint Martins Short Courses Online are a mix of live classes and self-study time. Students will be required to attend live classes which last up to 2 hours every week, and they will also be expected to spend a minimum of 1.5 hour a week as self-study time.

A typical course will take place across an 8 to 10 weeks period. Every week, tutor and student will meet in a live class which is set at a recurrent day and time.

Lessons, feedback and assignments will usually be given both in the live class but also through learning materials made available for self-study, in between the live classes.
