Want to work in in recorded drama or related fields? MA Screen breaks with theatre-oriented tradition by offering a programme that’s directly relevant to film and television.
The course consists of three pathways: Acting, Writing and Directing. Regardless of the pathway you choose, you‘ll spend much of the course working on cross-discipline projects with other students. It’s a rare opportunity to jointly explore ideas, working methods and script development.
Here are some of the features that make MA Screen unique:
- You’ll experience a performance-led approach to recorded drama
- The course operates a company operating model
- You’ll acquire a deep understanding of the processes leading to the creation and communication of recorded drama
- The course provides a quasi-professional learning model that prepares you for direct entry to the world of work
- You’ll work on realising new writing through performance-led models
- You’ll get a real focus on the technical aspects of production
- There’s a mentoring scheme connecting students with experienced professionals.
