Tuesday 24 July to Friday 3 August
Fashion Branding and Marketing and The advancement of fashion through branding and marketing.
Whether you are starting your own fashion label, or wishing to work as a brand manager for one; you must successfully establish a brand identity for your company before you can profitably develop a marketing campaign. In order to create a positive image for a brand, one must convince their target market group that their product is the only product that will fulfil their needs. Once this has been accomplished, then and only then can a company proceed to promotion through marketing.
This course aims to prepare you for what is needed in order for a fashion label/house to develop its own brand and marketing campaigns, which will distinguish it from other competing brands. You will learn how to take control of a fashion company, and successfully give the proper direction needed in order to establish a unique branding and how to target the correct market for their brand.
Classes will consist of lectures, reference hand-outs, and videos. You will then prepare a final project based on material that has been covered.
